AI product photos for Wildberries and Ozon that keep your listing safe

The main rule: the product stays real

Russian consumer protection law requires sellers to give necessary and reliable information about a product, and buyers read listing photos exactly as that. If the picture shows a different shade, different hardware or an extra detail, returns, low ratings and complaints follow, and the listing suffers.

So AI should work on the surroundings, not the product. Photograph the real item and let AI handle the scene, background, light and presentation.

What you can and cannot change

Keep a simple split in mind. Everything the buyer gets in the box must match the photo.

Shooting the source photo

The cleaner the source, the less the model has to invent. A phone and a window with diffused light are enough.

• The whole product is in frame and in focus, with no cropped edges
• Even diffused light with no glare on the label
• A plain background that is easy to remove
• Several angles for three dimensional items
• Color checked against the real item on screen

Prompts for scenes and models

The edit formula is the same as for any photo: what to change, how, and what to keep. List the important product details explicitly, since a generic "keep the product" works worse. For clothing on a model, check seams, fit and fabric texture.

• "Place the jar of cream on light travertine, soft morning light from the left, a gentle shadow. Keep the jar shape, lid color and label text unchanged"
• "Put the backpack in an autumn park, on a bench, leaves on the ground. The color, straps, zippers and logo of the backpack stay the same"
• "Show this sweater on a young woman in a bright studio, waist up. Knit, color and sleeve length exactly as in the product photo"

Labels and infographics without distortion

Image models still mix up letters, especially in small Cyrillic text. A garbled label looks like a counterfeit and makes buyers suspicious.

Generate only the background and scene, and add text and infographics as a template layer in the design editor. That keeps specs, sizes and names accurate to the character.

Marketplace requirements

Wildberries and Ozon publish photo requirements in their seller instructions: formats, sizes, number of images and rules for the main image. They change regularly, so check the current version in your seller account before uploading.

Whatever the marketplace, the main image should show the whole product clearly, and extra images should cover details, what is included and the product in use.
